"Celebrate" greeting card is a gorgeous new arrival, originally painted on a white background (2019), then digitally shifted to navy (2022) to create the illusion of celestial sparkle.

From the artist: For this piece, wanted to find a new way to approach stars..and I had a strange urge to combine the two star types. I worked freehand in watercolor/gouache/ink, without use of artists' masking fluid. This made it quite a challenge, but so much sweeter when it turned out better than I'd hoped.  I love the little moments where the colors bleed into each other.  Originally, the colors were all set on the white of the paper, but my intuition pushed me further. That rich navy background was challenging to achieve via computer.. but ultimately, everyone was thrilled with the result - customers, friends, family. It's sort of become an 'instant classic.'
