A classic J.Heloise piece, "Ice Cream" has been a customer favorite since it was introduced in 2021. Painted in the winter month of February, "Ice Cream" was meant to be a gentle reminder of summer, good times, and friendships that deserve savoring. 

It incorporates inks, gouache and watercolor -- and uses bold graphic elements to create the illusion of a freshly scooped cone melting. 

From the artist:  The giant pink blob was originally a mistake, but -- as so often happens with watercolor -- it turned into the best part of the piece.  I love the improvisational quality of watercolor... and its ability to convey so much meaning & feeling even within a small space.  To me, this is the perfect way to share some joy with just about anyone, adults AND/or kids...  My sister says it 'makes her feel like summer in her soul'.... :)"
